FailFloat
FailFloat is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that helps buy-side ops and treasury teams forecast liquidity impact from settlement fails and late allocations. It ingests trade blotter data, expected settlement dates, counterparty/venue rules, and historical fail patterns to produce a daily “cash-at-risk” view by currency, fund, and prime broker. The app flags trades likely to fail, estimates how long cash will be tied up, and suggests operational actions (chase, partials, reroute, pre-fund, or borrow) with a clear audit trail. This is not a magic button: it won’t fix broken market plumbing or replace your custodian. It gives a practical, defensible forecast so teams stop being surprised by cash shortfalls, overdrafts, and last-minute funding scrambles. Integrations focus on the messy reality: CSV/SFTP first, then APIs once value is proven.
