FailoverKit

FailoverKit is a web + mobile app (with offline mode) that turns your disaster recovery plan into step-by-step, role-based runbooks you can execute during an outage. It stores critical procedures, contacts, credentials pointers (not secrets), vendor numbers, and system dependencies in a format that remains usable when Slack, email, and your wiki are down. During an incident, it guides teams through checklists, timestamps actions, and captures decisions for postmortems. It also schedules lightweight “DR fire drills” and tracks readiness: last test date, RTO/RPO targets, and gaps. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps convert messy docs into structured runbooks and suggests missing steps based on common failure patterns, but execution stays deterministic and auditable. The goal is not fancy prediction—it’s reducing chaos and time-to-recovery when everything is broken.
