FailoverMap

FailoverMap is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that builds a living dependency map of your critical services and turns it into a practical disaster recovery plan. It ingests signals from cloud accounts, Kubernetes, DNS, load balancers, CI/CD, and observability tools to identify upstream/downstream dependencies, then generates a prioritized recovery sequence with clear ownership. During an incident, it switches to “war room mode”: shows blast radius, last-known-good configs, and the next best action list per team. It also runs lightweight, scheduled “dry-run checks” (not full drills) to detect drift: missing backups, broken replication, expired credentials, and unreachable runbooks. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for data collection and rules, AI for summarizing impact, suggesting recovery ordering, and producing concise incident briefs. Realistically, it won’t replace mature DR platforms; it’s a clarity layer that reduces confusion and time wasted.
