FairGrid
FairGrid is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly dashboards) that helps cities, utilities, and project developers measure whether their clean-energy programs actually reach low-income and historically overburdened communities. It ingests program data (rebates, interconnection queues, contractor payouts), overlays it with public datasets (census, energy burden, outage history, pollution indicators), and outputs an “Equity Receipt” report: who got served, who got left out, and where drop-offs happened (application, approval, install, payment). It also includes a lightweight community intake form for partner nonprofits to capture on-the-ground barriers (language, credit checks, landlord refusal) and tie them to specific program steps. This is not a feel-good storytelling tool; it’s a compliance and operations dashboard that flags inequities early enough to fix them before funding cycles end and audits hit.
