FairSplit is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps couples turn messy, emotional money conversations into clear agreements. It connects to both partners’ accounts (optional), categorizes spending, and highlights “friction zones” like uneven discretionary spend, hidden subscriptions, or inconsistent savings. The AI coach doesn’t do generic budgeting—it translates patterns into neutral conversation prompts, proposes fair split models (50/50, proportional to income, allowance-based, goal-based), and generates a simple “money pact” you both approve. Weekly 10-minute check-ins keep it lightweight: one shared dashboard, one decision, one action. It also includes a conflict-safe mode: you can discuss categories and rules without exposing every transaction line-by-line if that’s too sensitive early on. This is not therapy, but it borrows structure from couples counseling to reduce blame and ambiguity.
