FallCall

FallCall is a mobile + web app that helps families and older adults handle the most common, high-stakes scenario: a possible fall or “no response” moment. It runs scheduled check-ins and uses the phone’s built-in motion sensors to flag a potential fall pattern, then triggers a structured escalation: loud on-device alarm, auto-call to the user, then sequential calls/texts to trusted contacts, and finally an option to connect to a 24/7 third-party monitoring partner (where available). The app includes a simple “I’m okay” flow, a one-tap “Need help” button, and a shared contact card with address, lockbox code, meds list, and preferred hospital. It’s not magic: it won’t detect every fall and false alarms will happen, but it can meaningfully shorten time-to-help without requiring a wearable.
