FamWatchlist

FamWatchlist is a mobile + web app that helps families agree on what to watch across Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Max, and more—without endless scrolling. Each family member gets a simple profile (kid or adult), sets mood and time available, and the app builds a shared watchlist with “everyone-okay” picks. Parents can set guardrails (ratings, themes, bedtime length limits) and the app surfaces only titles that fit. It also supports quick voting (“yes/no/not now”), rotating picker turns, and a lightweight “family night plan” that includes run time, episode count, and a reminder. This isn’t trying to replace streaming apps; it sits on top of them and deep-links you into the right service. The MVP can work with a limited set of providers and regions, then expand as partnerships and catalog coverage improve.
