FastVow is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for people practicing religious fasting or abstinence who want structure without turning it into a generic diet tracker. Users pick a tradition-specific template (Lent, Ramadan, Yom Kippur prep, Orthodox fasts, personal vows) or create a custom rule set (no meat, no alcohol, sunrise-to-sunset, screen abstinence). The app generates a clear daily plan, reminders timed to local sunrise/sunset, and a simple “kept/broke/modified” check-in with optional notes for reflection. It includes a private “accountability circle” (1–5 trusted people) and a clergy/mentor mode for sharing progress without exposing sensitive details. It’s not a miracle cure: it’s a structured compliance tool with respectful language, minimal gamification, and practical scheduling so users don’t quit on day three.
