FeatherAudit is a mobile + web AI-assisted bird ID and sighting log built for people who care about accuracy. Instead of just guessing from a photo, it guides you to capture “audit-grade” evidence: short audio clips, multiple angles, habitat notes, GPS, time, and optional field marks checklist. The app then produces a confidence score with transparent reasons (e.g., call match strength, range likelihood, seasonality) and flags common lookalikes. For rare birds, it generates a shareable verification packet you can submit to local bird records committees or group admins, reducing drama and misinformation in community channels. It also includes an offline mode for remote hotspots and a personal “mis-ID learning loop” that shows what you got wrong and why. This is not a magic oracle—it's a structured evidence tool that makes your IDs more defensible.
