FeatherLog

FeatherLog is a mobile + web app for birders who want more than a casual checklist but don’t want the overhead of research-grade tools. It lets you log sightings fast (offline-first), attach photos/audio, and automatically captures location, weather, and effort (time/distance). The AI component suggests likely species from photo/audio and flags uncertainty so you don’t pollute your own records. The real value is output: one-tap export to eBird/iNaturalist formats, trip reports, and life-list analytics that don’t require spreadsheets. It also supports private “patch” monitoring for consistent routes, with reminders and simple trend charts (e.g., first-of-season, weekly counts). This is not a social network; it’s a personal data tool that respects privacy and works in the field where signal is bad.
