FECReady

FECReady is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small-to-mid political committees and treasurers prevent campaign-finance reporting errors before they file. Users connect their bank/credit card exports and donation platform exports (CSV first, integrations later). The app maps transactions to common FEC/State categories, flags missing contributor info, detects prohibited/over-limit contributions, and highlights suspicious patterns like refunds without memos or vendor payments lacking purpose codes. It generates a pre-flight checklist and a clean, auditable export aligned to the committee’s reporting software workflow (not trying to replace it on day one). It also maintains an “audit trail” of edits and supporting notes so a treasurer can justify decisions quickly. This is a combination traditional + AI app: rules-based compliance checks plus AI-assisted classification and anomaly detection.
