FedBrief
FedBrief is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that tracks monetary-policy signals and translates them into plain-English, decision-ready summaries. It ingests official statements, minutes, speeches, and macro releases, then produces a consistent “policy stance score,” a short rationale, and a timeline of what changed since the last meeting. Users can set alerts for specific triggers (e.g., “dot plot median shifts,” “inflation language turns more hawkish,” “unexpected balance-sheet guidance”) and export a weekly brief for internal distribution. This is an AI-assisted product, but it’s not a black box: every summary is linked to source paragraphs with citations and change-highlighting so users can verify quickly. Realistically, it won’t predict rates better than the market; the value is saving time, reducing misreads, and standardizing interpretation across teams.
