FeederPulse
FeederPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for distribution utilities to detect and localize emerging feeder problems using the data they already have: AMI interval reads, OMS outage events, and SCADA/DERMS signals. It continuously scores each feeder/transformer segment for abnormal voltage drift, rising momentary interruptions, and load/phase imbalance, then turns that into a ranked “worklist” for operators and planners. The goal is not flashy autonomy; it’s practical early warning and faster triage. The app includes a simple map view, evidence panels (what data triggered the alert), and a lightweight workflow to assign investigation tasks and track outcomes. Realistically, it won’t replace engineering studies or field patrols, but it can reduce time-to-detection, prevent repeat outages, and prioritize limited crew and capacitor/regulator attention.
