FeederShield
FeederShield is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for distribution utilities to rank grid resilience work orders by real outage risk, not just asset age or gut feel. It ingests feeder topology, historical outages, vegetation cycles, weather exposure, and known weak points (reclosers, laterals, transformers) to produce a weekly “risk-to-customer-minutes” queue. The MVP focuses on being brutally practical: it tells planners and field supervisors which 20 jobs reduce the most expected outage minutes per dollar, and it tracks whether executed work actually moved the needle. It also generates regulator-ready evidence: before/after risk scores, assumptions, and audit trails. This is not a magical digital twin; it’s a decision layer that sits on top of existing GIS/OMS/ADMS exports and works even with imperfect data.
