FeedFailSafe

FeedFailSafe is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that monitors automated pet feeders and care devices for silent failures: jams, empty hoppers, missed schedules, battery drops, and Wi‑Fi disconnects. Instead of being another “smart feeder remote,” it’s a reliability layer that works across brands via integrations (where available), a small optional plug-in power sensor, and user-confirmed check-ins. The AI component flags abnormal patterns (e.g., feeder motor draws power but no food dispensed, repeated reconnect loops, or consumption suddenly dropping) and escalates alerts to backup contacts or a local sitter. It also provides a simple “Plan B” workflow: one-tap instructions for neighbors/sitters, door code notes, and a printable care card. This is realistic because feeder failures are common, and most owners only learn after a missed meal. The hard part is integrations; the MVP should start with a few popular brands and the power-sensor fallback.
