FeedGuard

FeedGuard is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps small-to-mid fish and shrimp farms reduce feed waste and prevent water-quality crashes. Farmers log daily feeding, biomass estimates, and basic water readings (DO, temp, pH, salinity, ammonia). The app uses an AI model to recommend feed amounts and timing, flag “high-risk” ponds/cages, and generate simple action checklists (aeration, partial exchange, adjust pellet size, skip feeding). It integrates with cheap Bluetooth DO meters where available, but it’s designed to work even with manual entry because most farms won’t buy expensive sensors. Reports translate into practical KPIs: FCR trends, mortality correlation, and cost-per-kg harvested. Brutal truth: it won’t magically fix bad farm management, but it can catch the common, expensive mistakes early and standardize decisions across staff.
