FeedLedger

FeedLedger is a mobile + web app that tracks feed inventory, deliveries, and actual usage to expose “shrink” (loss, spoilage, theft, mis-measurement) in real time. Most farms know feed is their biggest cost, but they don’t know where it leaks because data lives in paper tickets, silo gauges, and gut feel. FeedLedger lets you scan delivery tickets, log mixer batches, and reconcile against bin/silo level readings (manual entry or connected sensors). It flags anomalies like supplier short-loads, ration drift, and unexplained inventory drops, and produces simple weekly reports for owners and nutritionists. This is a traditional app with light AI: OCR to read tickets and anomaly detection to highlight suspicious patterns. It’s not glamorous, but it targets a measurable, recurring cost center and can pay for itself quickly if it catches even small losses.
