FeedSight

FeedSight is a mobile + web app that helps livestock operators spot and reduce feed loss and bunk mismanagement using quick photo checks and simple daily logs. Users snap a photo of bunks, silage faces, or feed piles; the app estimates leftover volume, flags likely overfeeding/underfeeding patterns, and prompts corrective actions (adjust ration amount, feeding time, push-up frequency). It also tracks shrink drivers like uncovered piles, poor face management, and wet spoilage with a weekly “loss report” that translates waste into dollars. This is not a full nutrition formulation tool—those markets are crowded and hard to displace. Instead, FeedSight focuses on the unsexy operational gap: consistent measurement of what actually gets eaten vs. wasted. It integrates basic inventory counts and creates simple tasks for staff, because most losses are process failures, not nutrition math.
