FeedSnap

FeedSnap is a mobile + web app for dairy and beef operations to reduce ration mistakes and shrink by verifying TMR mixing and delivery with quick photos and simple inputs. The feeder snaps photos of each ingredient on the loader scale and the final mix; the app compares against the planned ration, flags likely over/under loads, and logs who mixed what, when, and where it was delivered. Managers get a daily variance report (ingredient deviations, refusals, and cost impact) without installing expensive hardware. It integrates with common ration software via CSV import/export and supports offline mode for poor connectivity. This is not magic: image estimates won’t be perfect, but even “good enough” verification plus accountability typically reduces chronic overfeeding, missed ingredients, and inconsistent batches—problems that quietly cost farms serious money every month.
