FeeLeakCheck

FeeLeakCheck is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI assistance) that helps people uncover and quantify the real cost of fees inside 401(k)s, IRAs, and brokerage retirement accounts. Users connect accounts via read-only aggregation and the app analyzes fund expense ratios, plan admin fees (when detectable), advisory fees, and cash drag. It then translates those percentages into plain-dollar outcomes: “This fee mix could cost you ~$X by age 67,” with scenario ranges rather than false precision. The app suggests lower-cost alternatives available inside the same plan (when holdings and plan lineup can be inferred) and provides a simple checklist for what to ask HR or the plan provider when data is missing. It also flags common traps like high-fee target-date funds, stable value underperformance, and redundant overlapping funds. The goal is not to ‘beat the market’—it’s to stop silent leakage.
