FeeLedger

FeeLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small businesses and property operators stay compliant with recurring government fees and licenses across cities, counties, and states. Users create an entity profile (business, rental property, food truck, contractor, nonprofit) and the app builds a calendar of renewals, filings, and payment windows. It stores receipts, license PDFs, and renewal confirmations in one audit-ready vault, then sends escalating reminders as deadlines approach. The realistic value is not “finding every fee automatically” (data is messy and fragmented), but reducing missed renewals, late penalties, and time wasted searching portals and emails. The app supports basic workflows: assign tasks to staff, track status, and generate a simple compliance report for accountants or inspectors. It also includes a lightweight AI assistant to summarize renewal instructions from uploaded notices and draft checklists, but keeps humans in control.
