FeeLens is a web + mobile AI-assisted wealth “fee and overlap” auditor for everyday investors and small RIAs. Users connect brokerage accounts via read-only aggregation and get a plain-English report showing: total all-in fees (expense ratios, advisory fees, platform fees), fund overlap across ETFs/mutual funds, tax-inefficient holdings, and cash drag. It then proposes a simplified, lower-cost model portfolio using the user’s existing brokerage (not a new custodian), with a step-by-step trade plan and a “do nothing” baseline comparison. The app is brutally transparent: it shows what it can’t know (e.g., some proprietary fee schedules) and flags assumptions. Revenue comes from a subscription for ongoing monitoring and quarterly checkups, plus an optional one-time “portfolio cleanup” report. This is not a robo-advisor replacement; it’s a diagnostic tool that helps users stop leaking returns.
