FeeLens is a web app (with a lightweight mobile dashboard) that audits your checkout’s “surprise costs” and payment friction in real time. It connects to your store (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom) and your payment processor (Stripe/Adyen/Braintree) to detect when taxes, shipping, currency conversion, tips, surcharges, or installment fees appear late or inconsistently. It then generates a clear, customer-friendly fee breakdown widget and runs controlled experiments to test where and how to disclose costs without tanking conversion. The product focuses on practical fixes: earlier fee disclosure, localized totals, smarter default payment methods, and messaging that reduces distrust. It also flags edge cases like address validation failures, cross-border duties, and wallet eligibility issues. This is not a magic “conversion booster”; it’s a diagnostics + disclosure tool that helps merchants stop losing customers due to avoidable fee shock.
