FeeLens

FeeLens is a mobile + web app that connects to your brokerage via read-only aggregation and audits the real cost of investing: commissions (if any), option contract fees, margin interest, ADR fees, fund expense ratios, bid/ask spread estimates, and recurring account charges. It turns messy statements into a simple “cost per strategy” view so users can see what they’re actually paying to hold ETFs, trade options, or rebalance frequently. The app flags fee anomalies (e.g., unusually high spreads, repeated small charges, margin rate jumps) and suggests concrete actions like switching order types, consolidating positions, avoiding specific tickers with persistent liquidity issues, or moving to a cheaper broker—without pretending it can beat the market. It also generates a clean monthly report for taxes/record-keeping and helps users set fee budgets. This is not a trading app; it’s a cost-control layer on top of existing accounts.
