FeeSleuth

FeeSleuth is a mobile + web AI-assisted app that audits your investment and savings products for silent fee drag. Users connect brokerage/retirement accounts via a read-only aggregator and upload PDFs (401(k) plan docs, fund prospectuses, annuity statements). The app extracts expense ratios, advisory fees, wrap fees, revenue sharing, trading costs, and cash sweep yields, then converts everything into a single “all-in fee” and a 10–30 year dollar impact. It flags overpriced funds, high-fee share classes, and underperforming cash positions, and suggests lower-cost equivalents (e.g., comparable index funds/ETFs) without pretending to be a robo-advisor. It also generates a plain-English script/email to send to HR, an advisor, or a provider to request cheaper options. Realistically, the hardest part is getting accurate fee data from messy documents—so the app focuses on transparency and action steps, not perfect optimization.
