FeeSleuth

FeeSleuth is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for RIAs, family offices, and serious DIY investors who want a brutally clear view of what they actually pay. Users upload custodial statements, fund fact sheets, and advisory invoices (PDF/CSV). The app extracts holdings, maps each position to known fee data (expense ratios, 12b-1, wrap fees, platform fees), and estimates all-in cost by account, sleeve, and household. It flags share-class mistakes, redundant funds, and “fee stacking” (advisory + active fund + platform). Output is a client-ready report with plain-English explanations and a checklist of actionable fixes. This is an AI + traditional app: AI for document parsing and entity matching; deterministic rules for fee math and auditability. It’s not a portfolio optimizer; it’s a cost transparency tool that helps users stop bleeding basis points.
