FenceSense
FenceSense helps conservation teams and landowners find, prioritize, and fix wildlife-deadly fencing. It’s a mobile + web app where users log fence segments with photos, GPS, and quick attributes (wire type, height, visibility, nearby water/corridors). The system generates a risk score for target species (e.g., pronghorn, deer, sage-grouse) and produces an actionable retrofit plan (flagging, smooth-wire swaps, height changes) with cost estimates. It also tracks grants, volunteer workdays, and before/after outcomes to prove impact to funders. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with photo-based fence type detection and suggests retrofit kits, but the core value is structured field data and project management. Realistically, adoption will be slow unless you partner with agencies/NGOs and make reporting dead simple.
