FerryClaim

FerryClaim is a mobile + web app that helps passengers automatically request compensation or refunds when ferries are delayed, canceled, or overbooked—where policies allow it. Users link tickets (QR code scan, email import, or booking reference), and the app monitors official operator feeds plus user-confirmed departure/arrival times. When a disruption crosses a policy threshold, FerryClaim generates the correct claim form, pre-fills evidence (ticket, timestamps, route, operator notices), and submits it via email/web portal with follow-ups. It also tracks claim status and expected payout dates. This is not glamorous: the hard part is dealing with inconsistent operator rules and limited APIs, so the MVP should focus on a few high-volume routes/operators where refunds are common and rules are clear. Monetization: take a small success fee or offer a subscription for frequent commuters.
