FestLine

FestLine is a mobile + web app for film festival attendees who are tired of juggling PDFs, emails, and sold-out screenings. It aggregates festival programs (from official feeds, scraped schedules where allowed, and user-submitted updates), then builds a conflict-free personal itinerary with realistic buffer times between venues. It alerts you when tickets drop, lines spike, or screenings change rooms/times, and it suggests backup picks when something sells out. The AI layer summarizes films from synopses/reviews, flags likely “hard-to-get” screenings based on historical demand, and recommends options that fit your taste and schedule constraints. The business model is simple: a free attendee tier, a paid “Pro” tier for power users, and a festival organizer package for official integrations and push alerts. Brutal truth: without official partnerships, data quality is the make-or-break factor.
