FestPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps short-film creators pick the right festivals and avoid wasting submission fees. You upload your film’s metadata (runtime, genre, premiere status, country, themes), plus your goals (Oscar-qualifying, local exposure, online-only, student, horror circuit, etc.). The app builds a realistic submission plan: which festivals you’re actually eligible for, what your likely acceptance range is based on comparable past lineups, and a calendar that accounts for premiere rules and deadlines. It also tracks submissions, fees, waiver codes, and outcomes so you can learn what works over time. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used for lineup similarity scoring and rule parsing, but the core value is a clean database, eligibility logic, and workflow. It’s not a magic “get accepted” tool—just a practical decision system.
