FestPulse

FestPulse is a mobile + web app for cultural festivals that gives attendees and organizers a live “what’s actually happening” view: stage delays, crowd density, entry wait times, food stall lines, and last-minute program changes. It combines official schedules with verified attendee reports and lightweight computer-vision crowd estimates from opt-in venue cameras or partner feeds. Users get smart alerts (e.g., “Parade rerouted—new viewing spots with low crowding”) and a map that prioritizes practicality over hype. Organizers get a simple ops dashboard to push updates, manage incidents, and see where bottlenecks form. Monetization is B2B: festivals pay for the ops suite and attendee comms; attendees get a free app. This is not a “festival discovery” app—those are saturated and ignored. It’s an operational tool that improves the on-site experience when things go wrong, which is most festivals.
