FiberReady is a web + mobile app that helps utilities and grid contractors prevent “unknown fiber” incidents during pole replacements, undergrounding, and substation work. It consolidates as-builts, one-call tickets, make-ready notes, and field photos into a single job workspace, then flags likely telecom conflicts before crews mobilize. The app uses AI to read PDFs and plan sheets, extract attachment heights/offsets, and compare them against utility standards and clearance rules. In the field, crews can capture geo-tagged photos and quick measurements; the app generates a concise conflict report and a shareable packet for telecom attachers and permitting stakeholders. This is not a magic wand—data quality is messy—so the product focuses on “good enough” risk scoring, audit trails, and faster coordination rather than perfect engineering models.
