FieldForge

FieldForge is a web app that uses OCR + AI extraction to pull specific, user-defined fields from large batches of PDFs and Word documents and export them to Excel/CSV/JSON. Users upload a folder of documents, define the fields they need (e.g., invoice number, vendor, total, effective date, policy ID, clause text), and optionally provide a few labeled examples. The system auto-detects layouts, runs OCR when needed, extracts values with confidence scores, and flags uncertain fields for quick human review. A review grid lets teams correct values, create reusable extraction templates per document type, and re-run extraction on new batches. FieldForge supports versioned schemas, audit trails (who changed what), and simple integrations via API/webhooks so extracted data can flow into accounting systems, CRMs, or data warehouses. It’s designed for operations teams who are drowning in documents but don’t have time or budget for custom automation projects.
