FieldProof

FieldProof is a mobile + web app for citizen-science projects that need verifiable observations, not noisy uploads. Participants submit photos/audio plus automatic “proof” metadata: GPS, timestamp, device sensor context, and a short guided checklist tailored to each project (e.g., invasive species, air quality, urban wildlife). An AI model flags likely mislabels, duplicates, and suspicious submissions, then routes edge cases to lightweight human review. Project owners get a dashboard with data-quality scoring, reviewer queues, and export to common research formats. The app is realistic about incentives: it supports small rewards (badges, raffles, partner coupons) but focuses on making high-quality submissions fast and defensible. If you can’t improve data reliability, your project’s dataset is basically a PR exercise—FieldProof aims to prevent that.
