FieldProof is a mobile + web AI app that helps wildlife photographers and ecotour operators prove where and when a photo was taken—without doxxing sensitive species locations. It ingests camera EXIF, optional GPS tracks, and on-device sensor data to generate a tamper-evident “Proof Card” for each sighting/photo set. The app automatically redacts precise coordinates (e.g., shifts to a 10–50km grid) based on species sensitivity and conservation rules, while still giving viewers confidence the image is authentic. Operators can attach Proof Cards to tour listings and post-trip galleries to reduce greenwashing and fake “guaranteed sightings.” Conservation partners can request access to higher-precision data under controlled permissions. Brutal reality: most people won’t pay for another photo app; this only works if it becomes a trust badge used by operators and platforms.
