FileBridge

FileBridge is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) that standardizes the most painful part of actuarial/pricing work: getting usable exposure, premium, and claims data out of inconsistent bordereaux, spreadsheets, PDFs, and carrier extracts. Users define a target schema (e.g., rating variables, exposure units, loss fields), then FileBridge ingests files, maps columns, flags anomalies, and produces an audit-trailed, versioned dataset ready for modeling in R/Python or a pricing platform. It includes rule-based validation (range checks, missingness, duplicates, triangle consistency) and a lightweight “data contract” so brokers/MGAs can submit in a consistent format next time. This is not a magic pricing model; it’s a pragmatic data prep and governance layer that reduces rework, shortens pricing cycles, and makes assumptions explicit. The core value is repeatability, traceability, and fewer analyst hours wasted on cleaning.
