FindThread

FindThread is a web app (with Slack/Teams add-ons) that turns messy internal knowledge into “answer threads.” Instead of returning a list of documents, it returns a short, cited explanation stitched from the most reliable sources across Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, SharePoint, Slack/Teams, and GitHub. It ranks results using freshness, author credibility, and usage signals, then shows exactly where each claim came from. Users can ask follow-up questions, pin an answer thread to a project, and request verification from an owner when confidence is low. Admins get lightweight governance: source coverage, stale hotspots, and duplicate-topic detection. This is an AI app plus traditional search—useful even when AI is uncertain because it always falls back to transparent citations and direct links. The goal is fewer pings, faster onboarding, and less time hunting for “the one doc.”
