FinishFinder

FinishFinder is a mobile + web AI-assisted sourcing app for high-end home materials (stone slabs, hardwood, tile, wallcoverings, paint, hardware). Users snap photos of a room or upload a designer mood board, then the app extracts colors, undertones, sheen, and texture cues to generate a short list of matching, purchasable options from vetted premium vendors. It also flags common failure points in luxury projects: dye-lot mismatch, slab veining direction, lead times, minimum order quantities, and return policies. The MVP focuses on “spec-to-cart”: create a finish set for a room, share it with a designer/GC, and request quotes from participating showrooms. This is not a magical one-click remodeler; it’s a practical decision and procurement layer that reduces expensive mistakes and endless back-and-forth.
