FinOpsNudge is a web app with a Slack app that turns cloud cost optimization into a weekly habit instead of a quarterly fire drill. It connects to AWS/Azure/GCP billing exports and Kubernetes metrics, then generates small, high-confidence actions: delete orphaned volumes, rightsize over-provisioned pods, fix mis-tagged resources, and renegotiate obvious commitment gaps. Instead of dumping dashboards, it posts prioritized “nudges” to the right channel with estimated savings, blast radius, and a one-click Jira ticket. An AI layer summarizes anomalies and drafts change requests, but the product stays conservative: it avoids auto-shutdowns and focuses on recommendations that can be verified. The goal is to reduce the time engineers spend hunting waste and give finance a clear audit trail of what changed, why, and how much it saved.
