FinOpsNudge

FinOpsNudge is a SaaS web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that prevents cloud overspend by catching waste at the moment it’s created, not weeks later in a dashboard no one checks. It watches infrastructure changes (Terraform plans, Kubernetes manifests, AWS/GCP/Azure resource creation) and blocks or flags risky moves: oversized instances, untagged resources, forgotten dev environments, public egress-heavy services, and duplicate managed databases. It assigns an owner automatically, estimates monthly impact, and routes an approval workflow based on policy (team, environment, budget). It also generates weekly “top 10 preventable costs” with concrete fixes and one-click Jira tickets. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional rules/policies for deterministic enforcement, plus AI to summarize changes, suggest right-sizing, and draft remediation tickets. The goal is fewer surprises, faster accountability, and measurable savings within the first billing cycle.
