FirstMeet
FirstMeet is a mobile app that makes first dates less risky and less awkward by adding lightweight safety and accountability tools around the meetup. Users create a “date card” with time, location, and a photo of who they’re meeting, then choose two trusted contacts as guardians. The app runs timed check-ins (“Are you okay?”) and can trigger an escalation flow if you miss them: auto-text guardians, share live location, and optionally call a local emergency number. It also includes a discreet “exit script” generator and a one-tap “I’m leaving now” status to reduce pressure. This is not a dating marketplace; it plugs into whatever app you already use. Monetization is freemium: free basic check-ins, paid for advanced escalation, location history, and guardian groups.
