FirstMeet

FirstMeet is a mobile app (with a lightweight web admin console) that forces dating to move from endless texting to a real, low-pressure first meetup fast. Users match normally, but the app only unlocks full chat after both pick a time window and a public venue type (coffee, walk, museum). It provides a “meetup card” with safety check-in, shareable itinerary, and a built-in excuse button to end the date politely. An AI layer suggests nearby venues, drafts a short opener, and proposes 2-3 time slots based on each person’s stated availability—without pretending to be a therapist or compatibility oracle. The core promise is simple: fewer pen pals, more actual dates, with guardrails that reduce flaking and anxiety. Monetization is straightforward: a subscription for unlimited scheduling, premium venue suggestions, and enhanced safety features.
