FishDose

FishDose is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) for aquarium and captive marine keepers who struggle to dose medications, salt, and additives correctly—especially when tank volume is uncertain and products use confusing units. Users enter tank dimensions, displacement (rock/sand), and livestock type; the app calculates true water volume and generates step-by-step dosing plans for common treatments (ich, velvet support, bacterial infections) and routine additives. It includes a “what you can’t mix” safety checker, reminders, and a simple log with photos so users can track outcomes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps interpret product labels via camera scan and flags ambiguous instructions, but the core calculations are deterministic and transparent. The app is realistic: it won’t diagnose diseases, and it will clearly warn when a vet/pro is needed.
