FishPassPro is a web + mobile field app that helps small-to-mid hydropower operators document fish passage performance and environmental compliance with less manual effort. Crews log fishway inspections, debris conditions, attraction flow checks, and bypass status using guided checklists, photo evidence, and GPS/time-stamped entries. The app generates audit-ready weekly/monthly reports aligned to common license conditions and agency expectations, and flags missed inspections or out-of-range readings before they become violations. It also centralizes communications: corrective actions, work orders, and sign-offs so operators can show a clear chain of custody during audits. This is a traditional app with light AI: optional OCR to extract readings from gauge photos and auto-summarize incident narratives into regulator-friendly language. It’s not a magic “optimize ecology” tool—just a practical compliance documentation system that reduces risk and admin time.
