FitCarto is a mobile + web AI app that builds a personal “size map” across brands and product types using a lightweight onboarding: a few known good-fitting items (brand, model, size), optional quick body measurements, and a short fit preference quiz (tight/regular/oversized). Instead of pretending to be perfect 3D scanning, it focuses on probabilistic recommendations: “Buy M in Brand X tees, L in their hoodies; avoid this cut if you hate tight shoulders.” It also flags uncertainty and suggests the cheapest way to confirm fit (e.g., order two sizes only when confidence is low). A browser extension overlays recommendations on product pages and explains why. The app learns from returns and exchanges (manual input or email receipt parsing) and gets better over time. It’s realistic: it won’t eliminate returns, but it can reduce them meaningfully for repeat shoppers.
