FitFirmware

FitFirmware is a mobile + web app that manages firmware and connectivity health across common smart sports gear (power meters, heart-rate straps, smart trainers, GPS watches, bike radars, sensor insoles). It scans nearby devices (Bluetooth/ANT+ via supported bridges), identifies model/firmware, checks known-bad versions, and guides users through safe updates with clear “do/don’t” steps. It also runs a quick diagnostic: battery health, dropouts, pairing conflicts, and interference hints, then produces a shareable “gear health report” for coaches or bike shops. This is not magic: many devices have locked-down update flows, so the app focuses on what’s feasible—deep guidance, centralized tracking, and integrations where vendors allow it. Monetization: freemium device inventory + diagnostics; paid tier for multi-athlete management, shop mode, and advanced troubleshooting playbooks.
