FitMirrorAR is a mobile + in-store kiosk AR try-on app that lets shoppers see apparel on their body in real time using a phone camera or a store-mounted tablet. It focuses on speed and accuracy for a narrow set of high-volume categories (tops, jackets, dresses) rather than promising full-body photorealism across everything. The app creates a lightweight body profile (opt-in) and maps key garment measurements to reduce obvious sizing errors. Retail associates get a simple dashboard that shows which items are being virtually tried, what sizes are requested, and where inventory is located, so they can pull items before the shopper asks. This is not a “metaverse” play; it’s a queue-reduction and conversion tool for stores with limited fitting rooms and high return rates.
