FitReceipt

FitReceipt is a mobile app that stops athletes from losing money on broken gear by making warranties and receipts actually usable. You scan or forward purchase receipts (email or paper), and the app extracts the item, store, date, price, and warranty terms, then builds a simple “coverage timeline” with expiration alerts. When something fails, FitReceipt generates a claim-ready packet: proof of purchase, product details, photos you add, and a prefilled email/template for the retailer or brand. It also tracks serial numbers, links to product manuals, and stores maintenance notes (e.g., bike service dates, shoe mileage) to avoid claim denials. This is not glamorous, but it’s practical: most people own hundreds of dollars in sports equipment and have no organized way to prove coverage. The MVP focuses on receipts, reminders, and claim packets—nothing more.
