FitSnapKid

FitSnapKid is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that helps parents buy kids’ clothing and shoes that actually fit. Instead of relying on inconsistent brand size charts, it uses a guided two-photo scan (front + side) with a reference card (printable or a standard credit card) to estimate key measurements and map them to brand-specific fit profiles. The app then recommends the best size per brand and flags “runs small/large” issues using aggregated return and fit feedback from other parents. It also stores each child’s measurement history and predicts when they’ll likely outgrow key items, so parents can time purchases and avoid last-minute buying. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles measurement estimation and fit prediction; traditional logic handles catalog, profiles, and feedback loops. It won’t be perfect for every body type, but it can materially reduce returns and wasted money.
