FixBacklog

FixBacklog is a web app (with a lightweight Slack/Teams companion) that turns messy sustainability intentions into an operational feedback loop teams actually run. It ingests utility bills, procurement exports, travel logs, and incident tickets, then converts them into a prioritized backlog of actions with owners, due dates, and expected impact. The core is a simple workflow: measure → propose fixes → assign → verify results → repeat. It focuses on “systems” sustainability: HVAC scheduling, equipment runtime, cloud waste, travel policy, vendor choices, and process changes. An AI layer suggests root causes and drafts action tickets, but the product is not a black box—every recommendation links to the underlying data and assumptions. The app tracks what was implemented, what changed, and what didn’t, and forces post-mortems when impact claims don’t hold up. It’s built for small-to-mid orgs that can’t afford a full ESG team.
